Infixion Media recently re-launched its leading website for the South African food and beverage manufacturing industries, now offering readers more than ever before.

It has been just over a year since we ceased publication of PACKAGING REVIEW SA. The decision to close that journal was taken largely due to the publication’s own identity crisis, being a mish-mash of content and advertising aimed at both packaging raw material converters and finished product suppliers, meaning it battled to serve any real purpose to either its readers or advertisers over the years.

The 2011 Pharmaceutical & Cosmetic Review / IFF New Product Competition (NPC) prize for the winner in the Individual Products category went to Nutriwomen's Anti-Aging Skin Therapy and the winning company in the Ranges category was Sh'Zen for its Sh'Zen Mens range.

Bakers scoops top honours

The Food Review/Symrise New Product Competition Awards dinner 2010 was held in Cape Town at the Granger Bay Hotel on the 15th of September. After a delicious dinner cooked by the aspiring chefs from the Cape Town Hotel School, the winners were announced. It was a close call, with literally less than half a point difference between the top three products.

Everyone Loves Environ

This year’s winner for the Pharmacos / IFF New Product Competition was Environ for its Frown Focus Serum. The announcement was made Wednesday 11 August at the awards function, which was held at Le Canard restaurant in Morningside, Johannesburg.
